Here are a couple of tips to help you plan and decide what you will need:
 
Facility Reservations: Please allow appropriate time before and after your guest arrival and departure for catering set up and clean up.
 
Food and Beverage: Lynn Catering offers a wide range of options to fit every budget—get creative, whether it’s unique, ethnic or theme, a menu can be tailored especially for your event.
 
Online Catering Booking Program: CaterTrax information will be forth coming showcasing the ease that you can place your orders and easily track your catering event history.
 
Guest Counts and Menu Changes: All catering is booked with an attendance estimate. Guaranteed guest counts and event changes MUST be provided 3 business days prior to the event. lf no guaranteed attendance is provided, your estimate serves as your guarantee. At the conclusion of your event, you will be billed for the guarantee number, or the actual guest attendance, whichever is greater.
 
Delivery: Standard deliveries and pickups are made at your convenience.  Please allow 30 minutes before and after your guest arrival and departure for delivery and pick up (a delivery fee may apply for events held off campus).
 
Payment: An approved Lynn University account number or other approved payment (Visa, MasterCard, cash and checks) is required to confirm delivery of your event and payments are due within 30 days from date of event (sales tax will only be applied to external groups who are tax-exempt).
 
Event Amenities: Add décor to make your event memorable—University Events can provide quotes and complete your orders for specialty linens, floral arrangements, balloons, and entertainment.
 
Service Staff: Service staff is determined by Lynn Catering and priced $25.00 per attendant per hour with a minimum of four hours.
 
Catering Equipment: Occasionally a menu or service style requires rental equipment, this is an additional expense, however, a quote will be provided so you can plan your budget accordingly (A replacement cost charge will be assessed for any missing or damaged equipment).
 
Pricing: Prices are subject to change based on meeting guest minimums and product availability.
 
Changes and Cancellations: All changes or cancellations referring to the menu, guest count or event arrangements must be confirmed three business days prior to the event date; a revised catering event order confirms your revisions. All cancellations made with less than three business days’ notice may be charged for any food and labor that have been committed to the event. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the event will result in a charge of 100% of the total bill.  If the University closes due to inclement weather, all catering events are automatically cancelled.
