On Wednesday, Sept. 11 (the 12th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks) Lynn’s Office of Spiritual and Religious Life will host its annual multi-faith 9/11 Remembrance Service at 12 p.m. in the Perper Plaza. The service will focus on peace, non-violence and unity, and will incorporate student reflections and a moment of silence in honor of the lives lost during the terrorist attacks.

Students are invited to submit their original poems on the themes of peace, unity , non-violence, and 9/11 itself. Students are encouraged to read their own works, but if they prefer they will be read by another individual. Please submit poems to tmccorry@lynn.edu  or drop them off to Terence McCorry in the SRL office on the second floor of the Student Center by  Friday Sept.  6.
