The 2012-2013 school year at Lynn University is the most exciting and eventful year to date in our history. After all, we kicked it off with a

history making event: the third and final presidential debate. We're calling it Lynn's Big Year, and whether you're a student, faculty or staff member, alumni or friend of the university, we hope you'll join us in celebrating our rich history and our promising future as we mark 50 years as an institution of higher learning.

Lynn University has come a long way from our start as an all-women's college issuing 2-year degrees to become one of the most international universities in the nation. We've been known by 3 names along the way, but our goals and our mission have never wavered.

The venue for the Passion Pit concert on Saturday, March 23 at 8 p.m., has been moved to our state-of-the art Keith C. and Elaine Johnson Wold Performing Arts Center. It will no longer be held on our soccer field.

Our 50th Anniversary Celebration will include an exciting weekend of activities on campus. Bring on the nostalgia, remember the past and welcome the future, cheer on your Fighting Knights past and present, get into the spirit and camaraderie. If you’re a part of the Lynn community – students, staff, faculty, alumni, parents and special friends – you won’t want to miss a minute. Check out the schedule of events below. Thursday, March 21

2 p.m. - Men's & Women's Tennis host Oklahoma Christian University
7:30 p.m. - Blue & White Club Auction - Keith C. and Elaine Johnson Wold Performing Arts Center (cost: $40)

Friday, March 22

11 a.m. - International Business Center Groundbreaking – Wold Center lawn adjacent to the construction site
12 p.m. - Baseball hosts Florida Southern College in doubleheader
5:30-9 p.m. - Special Anniversary Reception - de Hoernle Sports & Cultural Center (registration required)

Saturday, March 23

9-10 a.m. - Coffee with the President – Lynn Library (registration required)
10 a.m.  -      Men's & Women's Tennis Alumni match
11 a.m.  -       Men's Soccer Alumni match - Intramural Field
12 p.m.   -      Baseball hosts Florida Southern College
12:30-2:30 p.m. -  Picnic by the Pool (registration required)
3 p.m.    -      Softball hosts Florida Tech
8 p.m.    -      PASSION PIT: Live in Concert - Wold Performing Arts Center

Sunday, March 24
