On Oct. 16, 2017, Department of Education  will begin sending emails to 2017–18 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA^®) filers (and parents of dependent 2017–18 FAFSA filers) who have not yet submitted a 2018–19 FAFSA form.  

The goal is to make you aware that the 2018–19 FAFSA is available and to encourage you to complete the 2018–19 FAFSA form early. Eligible students and parents who have a valid email address in the Department of Education Central Processing System will receive an email at some point between now and early December. Students and parents may receive different messages based on certain factors.
