IT to upgrade Jenzabar June 24; logins integrated

The IT department is upgrading Jenzabar to version 6.3 Friday, June 24, 5 p.m.–midnight. Please save your work and log out of Jenzabar before 5 p.m. During the upgrade, myLynn and the grades and attendance application will be unavailable. Your computer will be updated at first login Monday, June 27. Remote will be up-to-date as soon as the system is upgraded.

One of the biggest changes from the upgrade is the integration between Jenzabar and your network login, so you do not have to use different usernames and passwords anymore. The change applies to Jenzabar EX, the application installed in your office computer only.

How it works:
• Your network username with be synchronized with Jenzabar usernames. For most users this is not an issue, but some of you may have a different Jenzabar username from your computer network username.
Starting Saturday, June 25, you will use the same username and password to log in to your computer to log in to Jenzabar. Your old Jenzabar login and password will not work!
• Everything else in Jenzabar should work as usual. User rights are not changing in Jenzabar or myLynn. You will belong to the same groups and have access to the same functions you had before the upgrade.
• This upgrade will help increase Jenzabar security.
