The Women’s Center is collecting donations for the Butterfly House, our local rape crisis center, through the month of April, which is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. When victims are sexually assaulted and taken to the Butterfly House for treatment, they are often required to leave their clothes behind as evidence. They are also given the option of showering and eating/ drinking after the rape exam has concluded. These items would greatly assist a victim after such a traumatic event.

All items must be new. No gently used items.
•              Flip-flops
•              Comfortable clothing (small to XXXL)
•              Snack items (protein bars, other healthy snacks)
•              Bottled water
•              Drinks – soda, boxed juices
•              Personal care items (toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorant, baby powder body spray, fragrance lotions etc.)
•              Underwear and sports bras (small to XXXL)
