Twenty students received a great introduction to the local business community during the Future Leaders of Tomorrow J-Term program. They visited 18 companies, met with executives and CEOs of major corporations and even got to rub elbows with the Governor of Florida.

Above: Student ambassadors and KOR members joined the Future Leaders of Tomorrow students at an event at ADT where they met Governor Rick Scott, Lieutenant Governor Carlos Lopez-Cantera and the CEO of ADT Naren Gurashaney during the governor’s "Million Jobs" bus tour around Florida.

Above: Our future leaders also met CEOs of major corporations in the Boca area including Tom Kastanotis, WPTV executive producer (top left); Charles and Robin and Charles Deyo, CEOs of Cendyn; Troy McLellan, president and CEO of Boca Raton Chamber; Kelly Smallridge, president and CEO of Business Development Board of Palm Beach County (top middle); Dan Cane, CEO of Modernizing Medicine and their team (top right); Michelle Glenn, director of Human Resources for Aerospace Technologies Group (bottom left); and John Duffy, CEO of 3CInteractive (bottom right).

Above: During her Career Prep J-term course, professor Sophia Stone took her students to Embassy Suites in Deerfield Beach (left) where they took a tour and learned about the hospitality business from various employees, watched a video about the Hilton Hotel legacy, heard from one Lynn graduate who interned there and now is working as a catering manager, and had a behind-the-scenes tour of the property ... And overseas, it looks like student E'Nayiah Frazier and Sadie Loera "held up" well at the leaning tower of Pisa during their J-term in Florence, Italy (right).
