MCC 2014 objectives

• Engage students, global leaders, and leaders across higher education in prioritizing effective, sustainable campus organizations as crucial to the movement to end extreme poverty.
• Provide students with peer to peer and professional networking opportunities and feedback to tangibly improve their respective initiatives.
• Showcase national and global campaigns and opportunities for student leaders and campuses to take their activism to the next level.
• Create lasting partnerships that will continue the conversation and collaboration around global development between students beyond the conference.

Unlike other conferences that strictly play a role of offering encouragement for current development practices, the MCC challenges current models of foreign aid and champions more open conversations on such issues.
