Update: Construction to impact campus during J-Term/spring semesters

In preparation for the construction of the Christine E. Lynn University Center, there will be some work done on the East Potomac Road entrance, Trinity and Remembrance Plaza lakes, sidewalk around the de Hoernle International Center and parking behind the H lot as follows:

Dec. 17 through J-Term 2017 (Jan. 20):
• The East Potomac Road entrance will be closed as construction begins on a new permanent entrance. A temporary entrance will reopen for the start of the spring semester (Jan. 23). The temporary entrance is open as of Monday, Jan. 23.
• Trinity and the Remembrance Plaza lakes will be drained so work can be done on our water management plan. Work on Remembrance Plaza lake is done, but will continue on Trinity lake until early summer.

Jan. 2 through spring semester 2017 (May 12)
• The sidewalk around the de Hoernle International Center on the north, east and south sides will be widened to accommodate pedestrian and emergency vehicle access. This work has been completed and the sidewalk is now open.
• Additional parking (132 spaces) will be added west of the existing H lot to be completed by early summer.
