Our hearts go out to all those dealing with the devastation from Hurricane Harvey. Here in South Florida, we are no strangers to the effects a hurricane can have immediately following and for months beyond.
Lynn University is coordinating a collection drive to help out the victims. Please donate these important items:
- Bottled water
- Bedding (pillows, sheets, towels)
- Baby items (bottles, formulas, diapers)
- Clothing, T-shirts and shoes, including sneakers
- Sanitation products (toilet paper, feminine products,toothbrushes, toothpaste etc.)
Drop your items at the following locations around campus by 5 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 12:
- Indimi International Business Center, College of Business offices
- Student Center, Elmore Dining Commons
- Library
- Green Center, institute for Achievement and Learning
- Freiburger Residence Hall, College of Business offices
- E.M. Lynn Residence Cener, Division of Student Affairs suite
- Involvement Fair table, Sept. 5, Perper Plaza lawn, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
All items collected at Lynn will be delivered to the Miami Dolphins Relief Drive. Donations will be sent directly to shelters in the Houston area.
Lynn will continue to support Hurricane Harvey relief efforts throughout the semester in various ways, so stay tuned.
