Activities scheduled for Sexual Assault Awareness Month

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month and the Women's Center and Jill Levenson's Human Services senior capstone sudents are co-sponsoring a variety of events on campus including:

On Monday, teal ribbons that represent the number of Lynn University students who have or will be victims of sexual assault in their lifetime, according to the statistics, will be displayed in the grassy area outside of the Green Center.

On Tuesday, there will be a Bystander Intervention presentation: a sexual assault prevention program in the Green Center at 4 p.m. It will focus on the importance of prosocial bystander behaviors. The program seeks to empower people to stand up and speak out to prevent instances of rape and sexual assault from occurring.
Later in the month is the Clothesline Project and the screening of The Invisible War.
