Lynn will celebrate the season with its signature holiday events and some new ones:

• Winterfest includes the Winter Carnival Dec. 9, 5-9 p.m., in the res hall quad with holiday cheer and some fresh Florida snow; the Holiday Gala, and the annual Celebration of Light will be held in the Snyder Sanctuary this year on Dec. 8 at 6 p.m.

• Live at Lynn Christmas, Dec. 9, 7:30 p.m. in the Wold, a special holiday show featuring the Gay Men's Chorus of South Florida, performing glorious music of the holidays.

• Gingerbread Holiday Concert, Dec. 13, 3 p.m. at the Boca Resort and Club: Now in its 13th year of spreading cheer throughout the community, the annual concert attracts parents, grandparents and kids of all ages to enjoy seasonal classics performed by the Philharmonia.
