Lynn’s prize-winning spelling team—Elaine Deering, Amy Filiatreau, and Paula Hyman—returns to the Great Grownup Spelling Bee sponsored by the Literacy Coalition of Palm Beach County on Oct. 15 in the Harriet Himmel Theater in City Place at 6 p.m. If you would like to go to the event and cheer the team on, contact Elaine Deering to reserve a spot on the Lynn van.

The Literacy Coalition is launching a new challenge for the Bee this year. Teams can win bragging rights and a trophy for the title of "Top Team Fundraiser” while supporting literacy. Team members invite you to support their efforts by making a donation in honor of Lynn’s team. To donate, go to the Bee homepage, search your Bee team on the left-hand side of the page under "Search Teams," and click on the donate button to the right of your team.
