The textbook rental company Chegg suffered a data breach that affected approximately 40 million customers. Some of the stolen credentials from the offense have been found to include Lynn University student email addresses and passwords. If you are a Lynn student who is a current Chegg customer or a student who used Chegg in the past, please do the following:
- Change your Lynn password via myLynn ASAP. Lynn IT department will expire all student accounts identified on the stolen credential list at 12:00 p.m. September 26.
- Go to the Chegg website and change your password immediately.
- If you have used the Chegg password for other sites you use, change the password on those sites immediately.
