Become a Knight Ally

If you have a passion for diversity, equality and social change, consider joining the Knight Allies for Diversity program.

The program helps to increase your ability to have close relationships with individuals from different backgrounds, cultures, and beliefs other than your own and gives you opportunities to learn from, teach, and have an impact on a population with whom you might not otherwise interact with. And you may have the satisfaction of knowing that you are the reason someone finally decides that his or her life is worthwhile.

If you are interested in becoming a Knight Ally, sign up for one of the training sessions which will equip you with the awareness, knowledge and skills needed to provide support and to foster an environment that is welcoming, affirming and inclusive. Last fall semester 53 members of the Lynn community, (staff and students), completed the training and became Knight Allies.

NEXT TRAINING DATE:
Thursday, March 7 – 1-4 p.m. in the Christine Room

For more information and to register, please contact Morayma James at mojames@lynn.edu or at 561-237-7531.
