Erika Grodzki, chair of the Department of Advertising, Media Studies & Performance in the College of International Communication, served as a plenary speaker this summer at the 5th International Language, Culture and Politics conference in Krakow, Poland. Her speech was entitled “Corporate Social Responsibility and Advocacy: Creating a Better World Today,” Grodzki started the conference with her colleague Clarinda Calma in 2009, while serving as a Fulbright lecturer at Tischner European University.
