Approximately 200 guests will join Lynn to break ground on its International Business Center (IBC), the new home of Lynn’s College of Business, at 11 a.m. on March 22. The Lynn community - students, staff and faculty - are invited to attend. The groundbreaking will feature:
• a procession of flags from the 70 nations represented by students enrolled in the business school
• a procession of students carrying banners representing the nine majors of the business school
• an orchestrated flyover by two of the Lynn School of Aeronautics airplanes
• music by Lynn Conservatory musicians
The morning’s groundbreaking ceremony that will take place on the Wold Performing Arts Center lawn directly adjacent to where the IBC construction is occurring.

In addition to remarks by President Ross, Thomas Kruczek, dean of the College of Business; Ivana Pancevska, a business student from Macedonia; and Jeff Johnson, dean of the Lynn School of Aeronautics; many key players will be present at the groundbreaking including: donors and their families, Lynn’s Board of Trustees, the architectural firm Gensler, Gerrits Construction, the construction manager and business school faculty and alumni, local business leaders (BDB and chamber boards), city leaders and representatives of the convention visitors bureau.
