International Programs and Services (IPS)

The International Programs and Services Office supports the mission and values of Lynn University by providing comprehensive and specialized services for the international student population. Serving as the central point of contact for all international students, the International Programs and Services Office strives to provide timely, accurate and effective advising and assistance while ensuring compliance with U.S. immigration laws and regulations.

All of the IPS forms are now online! Log in to the International Student Portal and submit updated documents or request services at: https://international.lynn.edu 

Request services such as:

  • Updated form I-20
  • Travel signatures
  • Employment authorizations
  • Authorization for reduced course loads 
  • Letter requests (social security, driver's license) 
  • Request to transfer SEVIS record out to a new school
  • Submit updated documents

International Student Advising:

  • Undergraduate students schedule an appointment on Navigate
  • Graduate students schedule an appointment by emailing us at ips@lynn.edu

Walk-in advising hours: Monday through Friday 10am to noon

Upcoming Events

OPT Application Process Presentations: If you are completing your program of study in the current semester or within the next 5 months, you should attend this presentation to learn more about how to apply for OPT and how to continue to maintain your status while on OPT. You must register in advance to attend this presentation. To register for a presentation, go to the International Student Portal and go to the Employment Menu and fill out the OPT Presentation Registration Form to obtain the meeting link.

CPT Application Process Presentations: Attend this presentation if you would like to learn how to apply for employment authorization for an off-campus internship related to your major field of study. You must register in advance to attend this presentation. To register for a presentation, go to the International Student Portal and go to the Employment Menu and fill out the CPT Presentation Registration Form to obtain the meeting link.

Curricular Practical Training: The CPT request forms are now available on the International Student Portal for electronic submission. No paper forms will be accepted.

Because tax advice and preparation is so specialized, you need to seek guidance from a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or a Tax preparation service if you need assistance. The International Programs and Services staff does not have this type of expertise, and therefore cannot assist you with advice or preparation of these tax forms. Program Cost Information

Below are specific program cost information handouts per degree level and program of study, and are estimated expenses submitted to the U.S. government as estimated cost of living and studying at Lynn University. This is the amount of funding that must be shown before a form I-20 can be issued by the International Student Services Office and to the U.S. Consulate before the F-1 visa can be issued. You can count any scholarships you are awarded toward the total cost listed on the program cost information for your program.

The costs listed on the Program Cost Information handout for your program are estimates and should not be used to determine the actual costs associated with attending Lynn University.
