I am an international student. What is the process for searching, securing, and registering for an internship?
International students have a similar process, but require additional approval before beginning your work as intern. The full process is below:
  1. Research internship opportunities
  2. Apply to positions of interest (you could be competing with hundreds of other applicants, so the more organizations you apply to, the better your chances are of landing an internship you'd like
  3. Interview and get hired. Note: You CANNOT begin working until you have applied for CPT and have received approval to start working.
  4. Contact International Programs and Services (ips@lynn.edu) to complete a CPT request form. All international students must register their internship through International Student Services (not through Career Connections)
  5. Complete required assignments within the internship course online
  6. Complete the internship hours you registered for

Please follow these steps to secure your internship as an international Watson students.

  3. Interview and get hired. Note: You CANNOT begin working until you have applied for CPT and have received approval to start working.
